Golf Tournament: Create, Configure, Score & Review

Create Your Golf Event. Welcome! Open Events and choose Create event with wizard. Give your tournament a clear name, choose Golf, and set the event date and location. Add a welcoming description, then select Next.

Choose the Format. Choose Individual for player results, or Team for a team competition. Select the competition structure and set the maximum number of participants. For this tournament, we use Individual and Ranking. Select Next.

Set the Course, Time and Access. Find and select your golf course. Set the start time and estimated round duration. Choose Public so participants can find the event, or Link access for sharing by invitation. Review these choices and select Next.

Review and Create. Your event summary brings the essentials together. Check the name, date, course, format, capacity, and access. When everything looks right, select Create event. You can refine competition settings in the event workspace.

Your Event Workspace. Your tournament now has one home. The organizer checklist helps you move through setup, registration, participants, scheduling, scoring, and completion. Use the tabs to work through the event in order.

Configure Each Competition. Open Competitions and choose the competition you want to configure. Set a clear name, capacity, registration deadline, registration status, and access. Keep separate competitions for groups that need their own results.

Choose Golf Rules and Scoring. In Sport Settings, choose the competitors, competition type, and scoring method. Confirm the course, number of holes, starting hole, tees, and handicap allowance. These settings determine how this competition is scored.

Check Tees and Handicap Allowance. Review tee rules for the players in this competition. Confirm front and back tees, hole count, starting hole, and handicap allowance. Check any cut settings before scoring starts, so everyone plays under the intended rules.

Set the Rounds and Schedule. In Competition Rounds, name the round and set its date and time. Add the rounds your tournament needs. Check the schedule and any reported conflicts before sharing the starting information.

Add Another Competition. Use the plus control to add your next competition. Give it its own name and select Golf. Configure its rounds, scoring, course, and registration in the same way. This keeps each group’s rules and results organized.

Save Your Competition Setup. Save the competition dialog, then select Save on the event to commit your setup. Use the competition selector to confirm that both competitions are available. You are ready to add players and allocate them to the right field.

Build Your Participant List. Open Participants to manage your field. Choose the relevant competition, search the list, and check each player’s identity and handicap. Add a player using the plus control, or import a prepared participant list.

Add a Participant. Enter the player’s first name, last name, and optional contact details. Confirm the selected competition and enter the handicap information you have. Select Save to add the participant to the event.

Allocate Players to Competitions. Use a player’s row menu and choose Edit to change their allocation. The Competition field lets you select the competitions they will play. Review the selection, then Save. Repeat for the rest of your field.

Verify the Saved Allocation. After saving, choose each competition in the list filter and confirm its participants. Check names, handicap indexes, playing handicaps, and tees. A carefully checked field makes seeding and scoring much easier.

Open the Scorecard. Open Standings and select the competition and round. The scorecard places each player beside their hole scores and totals. Check the selected round before entering or correcting results.

Enter and Correct Hole Scores. Click a player’s score row to enter the hole scores. Work across the round, checking each number against the scorecard. Score edits save through the score fields; wait for saving to finish before reviewing the totals.

Check the Saved Result. After entering a score, check the saved value and the round total. Use Refresh to confirm the persisted result. If a correction is needed, edit the same score field and review the updated standings.

Review and Share the Standings. Review the ranked results and the selected scoring method. Check tied scores and any required competition rules before publishing final results. Use the standings report control when you need a printable copy.

Explore Tournament Statistics. Open Stats and choose your competition and round. Review the available scoring summaries and charts to understand the day’s performance. Statistics become useful as players record their results.
