Compare Progress Across An Individual Practice

Record consistent starting and final assessments, then use the comparison for the next decision.

Check The Development Period. Jamie has reached the end of a focused practice block. Before celebrating the changes, Alex opens the plan's Assessments tab and checks the athlete and dates. The comparison should describe the same period of work.

Review The Starting Assessment. Review the starting assessment and its supporting notes. The original focus areas and scoring scale provide the reference point. A consistent baseline makes the later conversation fairer and easier for Jamie to understand.

Consider The Work Completed. Look at the completed activities and the notes from practice. These records explain the work behind the scores. Alex considers what Jamie actually completed before interpreting a change in the final assessment.

Record The Final Assessment. Record the final assessment using the same focus areas and scale. Add evidence for changed scores and keep the observations specific. Jamie should be able to recognize the improvement in the movements and performances being described.

Decide What Comes Next. Compare the starting and final picture, then choose the next step together. Progress might mean advancing the workload, keeping a useful routine, or changing the focus. The assessment becomes encouragement grounded in the athlete's own work.

Bring Visual Evidence Into The Review. A video comparison can enrich that review. These two real Vojtech Strnad recordings sit side by side in Visual Analytics. Discuss what you observe alongside the assessments, without assuming every difference is improvement.
