Record Attendance And Feedback
Capture attendance and feedback consistently to improve session quality.
Open The Correct Session. The group is arriving for practice, and Alex wants to start with a clear picture of who is here. Open the session and check its date and attendee list before recording anything.
Record Attendance. Update each athlete's attendance and check-in state as they arrive. Keep the selected session in view so the record belongs to today's occurrence. A clear attendance list helps Alex organize the session and follow up appropriately.
Capture A Useful Observation. During practice, add concise observations to the session notes. Describe what you saw and connect it to the athlete or activity when relevant. A specific note will be much more useful at the next session than a vague overall judgment.
Share Focused Feedback. Share the key feedback in the appropriate coaching space. Give the athlete something that went well and one achievable next step. Alex keeps the message short enough to remember and concrete enough to act on.
Review Participation Over Time. After several sessions, review attendance alongside the coaching notes. Look for patterns before changing the plan. Together, these records help Alex support participation and prepare practice that feels relevant to the group.
