Set Up Public Scoring
Give every start group a scoring code and QR code so players keep score in the app without an account.
Examples use golf. For another sport, choose its available rules, scoring, and exercises. Golf-only features are noted in the steps.
Open The Event Settings. Open your event, open the Settings tab (1) and then the Features section (2). Public scoring gives each golf start group and each racquet match a scoring code; this guide uses golf.
Turn On Public Scoring. Under Scoring, switch on Public scoring (1) and choose Save in the unsaved changes bar (2). Every group on the schedule now receives its own scoring code.
Find The Codes On The Schedule. Open the Schedule tab (1) and select the competition and round in Select Schedule (2); create the schedule first if it does not exist yet. Each start group shows its code next to the tee time: choose it (3) to open it large.
Share The Code And QR Code. Choose Copy code (1) to read the code out, copy or share the scoring link (2), or point at the QR code and choose its download button (3) to print it. The same codes also print on the buggy cards.
Player: Open The App. Players install the Compeetee app from the App Store or Google Play and, on the sign-in screen, choose Enter code under Have a scoring code (1). A phone camera can also scan the printed QR code and open the scorecard in the browser.
Player: Enter The Code. Players type the code into Code (1) and choose Open Scorecard (2). Instead of typing, they can choose Scan QR Code (3) and point the camera at the printed code.
Player: Keep Score. The scorecard opens with every player in the group; choose Start Live Scoring (1) and enter the strokes hole by hole. Scores are saved while the event is live, and you follow them in Standings on the event page.
